AREAS OF ACCESS
RED CARPET
The 2012 GLAD Benefit at the House of Blues, hosted by Ken Paves, will again feature a star-studded red carpet to kick off the evening's festivities. National and local media are invited to cover the red carpet, which runs before the live show from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. PST on Sunday, September 30.
***The red carpet is the only opportunity media will have to obtain direct interviews with talent.***
WORKING PRESS ROOM
Instead of a traditional press room, a designated area will be provided for media interested in working throughout the live production. Media are invited to watch the show, live blog, file stories and download images in this space. There will not be opportunities for talent interviews, still photography or b-roll footage. Interviews should be conducted on the red carpet and footage will be provided the week after the event.
PHOTO SEATS
There will be limited access for photographers at the event. For those media we are unable to accommodate, we will post free, downloadable images and e-mail you with access.
We will attempt to award as many media passes as space will allow; however, we may not be able to grant every request. Consideration for media credentials is based upon a number of factors, including previous coverage of events and audience.
Thank you for your interest in covering the event!

Guests on the VIP list will be walking the red carpet, engaging with media and reporters, and enjoying access to the VIP section at the event.
VIP passes are by invitation only. Contact us if you think you should be on the invitation list.
Interpreters will be provided for deaf and hard of hearing VIP guests.
