ASL Families Open Meeting

Come to the meeting for the ASL Families community! An open meeting will take about 30 minutes starting at 2:00 p.m.
Then, attendees can either go browse the great art galleries and cute little shops in the Community Renaissance Market, or join the volunteer meeting.
6800 Westgate Blvd (corner of William Cannon and Westgate)
After the open meeting, volunteers will sit down and get to work planning upcoming events and dividing up responsibilities.
WHO SHOULD COME?
Anyone who wants to learn more about and support ASL Families’ activities and support programs for parents, children, and senior citizens.
Voice interpreted: Hearing parents, relatives, or roommates who want to learn or improve their ASL skills are also very welcome!

KIDS’ ACTIVITY: 1:30 P.M. SIGN IN
Parents can drop off their kids at Locomotion Jump with a volunteer fluent in ASL watching the kids and join the meeting. Only $5 per child, discounted from $8!
Older kids will love the cool little trinkets in the different art and craft shops - there’s even a steampunk shop!
Please pre-register for kids’ drop off (limited spaces available).
WE NEED VOLUNTEERS!
We are seeking volunteers to participate in ASL Families committee or to help supervise the kids at Locomotion. ASL fluency a plus but not required.
